I am a mother, grandmother of 5, and a wife. I have had a single lung transplant July 1,2007.
I went from oxygen 24/7 and a wheel chair to going to the US Transplant Games.
My Yahoo is mjs.world if you would like to add me.
Just dropping by to say hello and how are you doing?Hope you enjoyed your holiday season and got to spend lots of "gramma" time!
I am pretty busy now...trying to take it slow and easy...Rob's dad is the same then his mom fell and fractured her spine so we all have been trying to help him out!I go to LOndon Feb 3rd for appt. and ultrasound...I feel like telling them to just forget it...I am just plain angry and tired now.
Anyway I won't keep ya...hope ur doing ok and hello to Sara...talk soon xxoo
Things have gone down hill for the both of us then.
Been in the hospital many times with the last in November for 2 weeks. Previously in October, August, and in July. Luckily the pancreas hasn't given me problems, but the kidney has on each occassion. I am in the process of applying for a guide dog, but eye doctor incorrectly filled out the form I need to submit and his is the most important of all the forms and other doctor letters. I will if it goes to plan be going in Feb for proper use of a cane training. I have to do that befre being trained to use a dog. Then one that is done, I have to pick a month that is open to atend a 26 day of training to use a dog that has been selected for me. I will have to travel to Michigan for the guide dog program, but all expences are paid for, airfare (reimbursed, but cheap airfare), room and board (on their site). Just have to pay for coin laundry I think and food they do not have. The website has a tour and looks real nice. We are given our dogs on the third day of training.
Also working on getting a new phone so I can see it better. The iPhone 3GS is the best for low vision accessability with built in software and ease of use compared to the accesable phones AT&T offers that are much harder to use and see. But either case I would have to pay for a data plan that I do not need. AT&T was working on it to where people with disabilities would not have to pay that extra fee, which would be good because I do not want a bill that is almost $100 a month.
Sorry to hear about you rejecting. Breaking your leg, was it due to the prednisone bone loss?
Anyword from Suzie?

I broke my leg and in rejection. Hopefully the New Year will bring us a healthier one.
Sorry I haven't ben around. A lot has been going on and being on the internet just hasn't ben as much fun. I am kinda burnt out I think and it just hasn't returned to be as much of an interest as it use to be after a break, even after being in the hospital.
