Red Cross Blood Drive Details
Two types of donations will be on offer when scheduling a time.
Whole Blood: Approximately 1 pint of “whole blood” is collected, including red blood cells, plasma, and platelets.
Power Red: Red blood cells are collected while platelets and plasma are returned to the donor. Donors must meet specific eligibility requirements and have type A Neg, B Neg, or O blood.
Please come prepared to stay for an hour or longer.

Founded in 1881 by Clara Barton, a former Civil War field nurse, the American Red Cross is a humanitarian, nonprofit organization that is dedicated to ending human suffering. The Red Cross assists in disaster relief, medical training, and blood donation both nationally and internationally. They are part of the global Red Cross and Red Crescent network, a movement to help those who suffer without discrimination.
