At just 23 years old, Sydney St. Amour has officially received her third heart transplant.

Her journey began at birth, when heart failure changed her life forever. At six months old, an organ donor gave her a chance to live. Years later, another donor gave her hope again. And now — because someone chose to say yes — Sydney has been given a third chance at life.

The road here has been long. Chronic rejection. Cancer caused by lifelong immunosuppression. Permanent complications. Months of waiting far from home while her life was on hold.

This transplant is not the end of her journey — it’s the beginning of recovery, healing, and rebuilding. And that comes with overwhelming medical, travel, housing, and recovery costs.

This February, Mission Monday is for Sydney.
It’s for the donor who gave her life.
It’s for the strength it takes to survive this journey.
And it’s for helping her focus on healing — not the financial burden.
