Most 12-year-olds spend their days thinking about school, friends, sports, and what they’re going to do next weekend.

Linnia dreams about those things too.

She loves volleyball, swimming, riding her bike, spending time with friends, and never goes to the hospital without her diamond art.

But unlike most children her age, Linnia has spent her entire life fighting Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS); a rare congenital heart defect. After becoming seriously ill earlier this year, doctors delivered heartbreaking news: she now needs a heart transplant.

On Monday, August 31st, we’ll come together for Mission Monday to help ease the financial burden on Linnia and her family, allowing them to focus on what matters most; her journey to a new heart.
